A Simple Answer to the Question: Who Is She?

Catherine Luciani is a mixed Puerto Rican/Italian American actress and proud Connecticut native. She is an MFA Acting candidate in her final year of training with the FSU/Asolo Conservatory. Knowing change is constant, she has embraced this journey and is currently working closely with the Asolo Rep in their educational tour of Much Ado About Nothing and in their 2024-2025 season. 

Catherine cannot be defined simply, but perhaps she can be described poetically. She holds a passion for life that makes her chase what interests her so that she may have an even greater understanding of the world. She is a marathoner, volleyballer, skier, scuba diver,  martial artist (karate), golfer (okay, she loves sports)! She loves dancing, having trained as a youngster in ballet. Catherine is a poet and loves languages--she is a certified TESL/TEFL Teacher, studied in IPA, and currently practicing Spanish and Japanese. The list goes on...but she is really simply someone who loves life, people, and life's stories.
 

In her acting, Catherine seeks to live boldly and honestly in her work, always seeking truth and authenticity in her performances. A true collaborative spirit, that gives and receives energy from all around her, she loves her work and wakes every day excited by its potential. For her, art is bringing voice/awareness to audiences through story, while simultaneously sharing as fellow humans in those in discoveries to foster connection and understanding.
